Because WebSTAC contains confidential information about you and your academic record, access is password-protected. You should never share your WUSTL Key login ID or password with others. You will be prompted to change your password the very first time you use it and again periodically throughout the year. If you believe that your password has been compromised, contact the Office of the University Registrar on the Danforth campus immediately.
The privacy of student records is also protected by law, under the federal Family Educational Rights and Privacy Act (FERPA). Certain pieces of “directory information” on your record may be publicly available, such as addresses and phone numbers, unless you have placed Information Restrictions on your record which is your option under the law.
